WHITEHORSE

WHITEHORSE: Es la capital del territorio de Yukón., y el puerto principal entre Dawson City, y otras comunidades río abajo, durante la era de fiebre por el oro. Era la única ruta de transporte hasta 1955 cuando se hizo la carretera.

Whitehorse: Is capital of Yukon Territory.  Also it was principal port between Dawson City and others communities down river, during the Gold Rush years. The Yukon River was the only transportation route until 1955, when the road was completed.   

WE ARE BACK

TESLIN LAKE: A orilla de este maravilloso lago decidimos descansar. En  Teslin,  hay una tienda muy especial que vale la pena visitarla. En su interior se encuentra un bello museo.

We spent the night on the shores of this wonderful lake. There is an interesting shop in Teslin , in the back you can find a beautiful  wildlife museum.

EL GLACIAR: Impresionante como dice mi amado cónyuge,  bello panorama para contemplarlo y admirarlo.

Like my loving husband always says “Impressive”.  Beautiful panorama to contemplate and admire.  

ROAD TO DEASE LAKE IN JULY # 4

RUTA A DEASE LAKE: La vida salvaje es otro cuento por este camino y sin ir más lejos nos encontramos con algunos de ellos. Esto es sólo el comienzo de lo que veremos.

The wildlife on the Cassiar Hwy to Dease Lake was abundant and we were able to see some of these.  This is only the beginning of the trip.   

HYDER ALASKA

JULY 03 2011: Después de varias horas en el camino llegamos a STEWART B.C.  un pueblito muy pintoresco por lo demás. Pero decidimos pasar la noche en otro pueblito,  HYDER junto al  Nebuloso  Fiordo Monumento Nacional  en  Alaska.

After many hours on the road we arrived to STEWART B.C. nice little town. But we decided to spend the night in HYDER next door in the Misty Fiords National Monument on the Alaska side.
